Meet the PSI Family

Protective Services Inc. (PSI), is an independent, family-owned residential and commercial fire/security service located in Seattle, Washington. PSI is owned and operated by Mr. Kim Proctor. Kim's daughter Katherine has played an active role in the family business since the age of 15, along with a team of knowledgeable personnel.

 

With over four decades in the security and fire safety systems business, Kim has earned a highly regarded reputation. Known for his positive energy and zeal for for safety, he cares deeply about the safety and well-being of all people and takes great pride in knowing that PSI services provide families and businesses with peace of mind. Kim offers established expertise with all of the latest technology so that he can help people throughout Western Washington lead more comfortable, safe lives.

 

Prior to founding PSI in 1970, Kim was with IBM, a multinational computer technology and consulting corporation. Originally an authorized Dictograph Dealer and serving as an active member of its President's Council, Kim was appointed as a Honeywell First Alert Dealer in 1995. As part of Honeywell’s elite dealer organization, he is one of only 400 First Alert dealers in the United States.

 

In his spare time, Kim enjoys playing tennis and is an active member of both the Seattle Tennis Club and the University Club. He is a proud member of the Better Business Bureau.

 

Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington School of Business in Seattle, Washington. He went on to complete a 5th year of study at Trinity University, a Queen's college in Dublin, Ireland. Daughter Katherine was on the dean's list for two years while earning a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona.
